What makes a good brochure?
A brochure is an advertising medium used to present a company or an activity.
It’s important to know that a good brochure must capture the reader’s attention. This is why having a powerful design and descriptive texts that are both clear and concise is crucial to make it easy to read.
First, if the brochure is designed for commercial purposes and highlights a specific product, the text must relate to that product.
Designing a brochure, like any other printed communication material, requires careful work and creative research. Besides the layout, which must meet specific criteria such as using colors related to the company’s logo, the message to be conveyed must have the maximum impact on the reader. Your brochure should be unique and original, especially if it aims to stand out from the competition.

How can you get an inexpensive flyer?
The cost or budget for a flyer depends on the following elements:
- The open and closed format: To explain this point, let’s take an example: a client wants a flyer in a closed A5 format with a single fold, which de facto gives us a closed A5, open A4 flyer (it’s as if we folded an A4 sheet in half lengthwise).
- The printing cost depends on the following elements:
- The paper weight: The thicker the paper (e.g., 350g), the more expensive it is. It’s also necessary to consider that paper quality varies and can affect the final cost.
- The format: The larger the format you print on, the more expensive it is (although this rule doesn’t always apply to non-standard formats with significant waste).
- The number of colors: Printing in a single color (black) is by far cheaper than printing in 4 colors or using special colors.
- The finishing: Finishing work increases the bill… but luxury comes at a price 😉
- The quantity: In offset printing, the more you print, the lower the unit price (due to the dilution of fixed costs). As for digital offset, the price doesn’t vary with quantity, but it’s ideal for small quantities.
- The process: As discussed above, printing in offset or digital offset differs greatly in how budgets are set.
