Greeting Card Embassy of Argentina

As part of our 2014 year-end greetings, we printed greeting cards on behalf of the Argentine Embassy.

The cards were printed on 11.5 cm x 15.8 cm orchard paper.

To design and print a greeting card, follow these steps:

1. Determine theme and message: Think about the theme of your greeting card, whether it’s for the holidays, a birthday, a wedding or any other special occasion. Also think about the message you want to convey, whether it’s a simple greeting or a more personal wish.
2. Choose design software: Use graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva to create your greeting card. If you’re not comfortable with these programs, you can also use pre-designed templates or online greeting card design sites.
3. Design the layout: Select an attractive layout to suit the theme of your greeting card. Add decorative elements such as illustrations, patterns, festive colors and appropriate typography. Make sure your design is clear and legible, while reflecting the mood you want to create.
4. Personalize your message: Add your own personalized greeting to the inside of the card. Choose warm, heartfelt words to express your wishes in a special way. You can also add relevant photos or images if you wish.
5. Choose paper and print quality: Select good-quality paper for your greeting card. Opt for thicker card stock for a professional, long-lasting appearance. Ask local or online printers about the printing options available, and choose the one that best suits your needs.
6. Download file and order print: Save your design as a high-resolution file (PDF, JPEG, PNG, etc.). Visit a local printer or use an online printing service to order the desired quantity of greeting cards. Be sure to specify details such as size, paper type and desired finishes (such as varnish or embossing) when placing your order.
7. Check and distribute greeting cards: Before sending or distributing greeting cards, be sure to examine them carefully to ensure there are no typos, printing problems or visual flaws. Embellish them with matching envelopes and personalize them with handwritten addresses and messages.

With these steps, you’ll be able to design and print beautiful personalized greeting cards. Don’t forget to allow enough time for design, printing and distribution to ensure timely delivery.
