Tips for a good newsletter :
The first thing to consider when designing a newsletter template is the content. Is it relevant to your audience? Will it generate enough engagement? Is it consistent with your brand identity? Your content needs to be clear and concise: your readers’ attention to your message is short-lived!
How to do it: place images in the first part of your email to capture your readers’ attention, followed by short text and a call to action.
Give your newsletter a well-defined structure. You can choose to use a one-column block at the top and another made up of 2 smaller columns underneath. Don’t try to cram in too much information: it’s likely to put off your readers. Keep as much empty space as possible and keep your newsletters simple and clear. Above all, maintain a similar format from one email to the next: users want to find the same design and feel over time. This will also help build your brand identity.
