Manufacture and installation of a Go Sport sign in La Marsa: World Cup 2014 operation, here’s an assignment successfully handled by our agency!

We designed and produced a poster for our client Go Sport for its La Marsa store, as part of the store dressing operation for the Brazil 2014 World Cup.

The poster measures 3m by 5m, printed on coated canvas, and was hung above the entrance to the dedicated store by means of an aluminum structure.

The importance of signage in communication policy

Signs are a key element in visual communication. It plays a crucial role in the process of transmitting and disseminating information, as it is responsible for drawing attention to a particular object or idea. The main aim of any signage project is to convey information and provide direction.

Signs are used to communicate with people in a variety of ways. They can be used to direct traffic, inform customers about products and services, announce events or simply make an entrance more welcoming by using eye-catching, aesthetically pleasing graphics.

Signs can be static (e.g. billboards) or dynamic (e.g. electronic displays). Whatever their type, all signs have one thing in common: they are designed to attract attention and persuade viewers to act on the message they contain.

Signs can be made from different materials such as wood, metal or plastic. They can also be made from different types of paint or ink, depending on the type of sign required to meet your needs. Types of signs include traffic signs (which tell drivers where to turn), street name signs (which indicate the street you’re on), warning signs (which alert us to potential hazards) and parking signs (which tell us where we can park).
