Purpose of a sales brochure

A brochure serves both to promote the company, through the various information it provides on its products and services, and to boost product sales.

It must therefore be designed to provide all the elements the reader needs.

Firstly, to get to know the company better, but above all to help them decide to make a purchase.

That’s why the design of a sales brochure must be focused:

• Attractiveness, by focusing on the visual aspect of the cover and its interior pages,
• The reader’s interest, through the visual aspect, the titles by highlighting them and the images (Quality and Format).
• The desire to learn more about the company and its products and services, following a well-prepared presentation,
• A call to action, encouraging readers to take an interest in the offer and make a purchase.

What are the different types of brochures and booklets?

• Stapled brochures ensure a smooth finish by securing the folded pages with two or more staples. This method is technically known as saddle-stitching. These brochures are useful for promoting your company, products and services.
• Stitched, glued square-back brochures: these are brochures glued together with durable materials to give a clean, professional finish. Technically, the signatures are held together with a special glue and sewn together for a long-lasting, effective hold, even with fairly heavy use of the brochure. Bear in mind that this type of brochure requires a fairly large number of pages, ideally for activity reports, board files and financial transactions.
• Hard-cover brochures are ideal for presenting your products or describing your corporate culture. Technically, we use a special paper (generally gris-gris) with a fairly high grammage. The printing is done on a coated paper (for example) and laminated to the gris-gris.
