As a communications tool, flyers also play an important role in an effective marketing strategy. They’re easy to produce if you’re creative. But how do you print them?
There are several formats for creating a flyer, but the most popular are A5 and A6. Their respective dimensions of 210×148 mm and 148×105 mm are perfect for containing important information.
However, you can always choose other formats depending on the products or services you wish to offer prospects. For the record, flyers can take many forms: promotional flyers, information flyers, product flyers, store or point-of-sale opening flyers…
Flyers are often used as information and promotional media. The choice of paper type is therefore crucial, as they are intended for several hundred people. That said, the ideal paper for printing flyers is 135 gram gloss coated paper. Slightly thicker than the paper used for Post-it notes, it ensures a glossy finish and satisfactory print quality.
You don’t need expensive software to create personalized flyers. Word is all you need to create a simple yet creative template. To do this, open a new Word file, go to File, then New from Template and choose the one you like. You can use the elements of the template to personalize your flyer.
Once you’ve completed your design, all that’s left to do is print your flyers. To do this, go to your printer’s properties and select layout, then choose to print 4 pages per sheet. You can also use the double-sided printing function, depending on your model.
