We designed and printed a leaflet and application pack for our client L’Université Ibn Khaldoun for its students studying for a professional master’s degree in accounting, management control and risk management.

The format was A4 closed, A3 open, printed on 170g mat coated paper.

A leaflet is a piece of printed paper, often folded into the shape of a small sheet, which can be distributed to the public. Originally, the term was synonymous with the shape of a poster; indeed, many early dictionaries indicate that “tract” is simply another word for “poster”.

Leaflets are often used as advertising material for candidates or political parties and, in recent years, for commercial products such as books and films. They can be distributed through letterboxes or posted on fences and walls.

Leaflets are commonly used to disseminate information on social issues, demonstrations and political campaigns, for example by missionaries. They can also be used to distribute religious literature, such as pamphlets or New Testaments. In his book War No More: The Church’s Moral Witness Against War (1961), David C. Taylor suggests that “it is no exaggeration to say that the Bible has proved to be one of the greatest tract distribution weapons in history”.

This project was carried out in June 2012
