Store window cladding GoSport La Marsa
We designed and printed a kakemono tarpaulin for our client GoSport.
The tarpaulin is 5m by 4m30 in two parts. The brief was to cover a store under construction, while still allowing access to the store. The agency’s response to this constraint was:
– to separate the structure from the facade by putting in place a fixed structure and an easily “removable” structure
– the fixed part was made in giant kakemono mode with a large-scale welded tarpaulin, the removable part also had the same technical characteristics, but as it was smaller in size than the fixed part, it was very easy to access the store under construction while ensuring continuity in the overall visual.
The project was for the GoSport store in La Marsa, a popular shopping destination in Tunisia. Our team at Digital Syndrom worked closely with the agency to create a solution that would effectively cover the store’s construction while still maintaining visibility and accessibility.
Cladding is a common method used in construction to cover a building’s exterior. It not only serves as protection against weather elements, but also plays a vital role in enhancing a building’s aesthetic appeal. In this case, cladding was necessary to hide the unfinished state of the GoSport store during its renovation.
Our solution involved using kakemono tarpaulins, which are large-scale banners commonly used for outdoor advertising. We printed two separate pieces measuring 5m by 4m30 each, and installed them onto the scaffolding surrounding the store. This effectively covered the entire facade of the building, providing a clean and professional look.
In addition to covering the store’s exterior, we also wanted to ensure that customers could still access the store easily. To achieve this, we strategically placed openings in the tarpaulins, allowing for doorways and windows to remain visible and accessible.
The end result was an effective cladding solution that not only hid the construction work but also maintained visibility and accessibility for customers. The kakemono tarpaulins were durable enough to withstand weather elements while providing a clean and professional appearance for the GoSport store.
At Digital Syndrom, we understand the importance of finding creative solutions to construction challenges.
