MAV Community Management

Digital Syndrom took on the Community Management mission for our client MAV. Our first step was to work on the following social networks:

• Facebook
• Instagram

The first step is to add two more channels:

• Google +
• Twitter

As soon as the new version of the customer’s website went online. The agency also took charge of a trip to the customer’s point of sale, to ensure a quick overview of existing instruments and materials, as well as brand news.

We began our mission by setting up :

• A graphic line
• An editorial line
• Internal and external content research
• Optimized planning
• Fan recruitment campaigns
• Publication boosting campaigns
• Comprehensive reporting on activity and results undertaken by the agency.

The Community Manager’s role

Community management is a form of social network management that involves monitoring, engaging and maintaining online communities.

Community management has become increasingly influential in digital communications policy due to the rise of social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

These sites enable instant communication between users all over the world, making it possible to create a large community based on a common interest or belief system.

However, if this community is not managed properly, it can have negative consequences such as an increase in spam, hate speech, cyberbullying and an overall decrease in user experience.

An effective community manager needs to be able to monitor conversations in order to engage with community members.

It must also be able to implement policies that promote site growth while protecting users from harmful content such as spam and hate speech.

Our mission began at the end of December 2016.
