ATUGE Forum Main Panel
For the 2017 ATUGE Forum, our agency was responsible for designing the main panel that displayed the forum’s general schedule (Automotive Workshops, Events, Sponsors, Plenary Session, etc.).
To design and print a panel for a forum, follow the steps below:
- Define Needs and Objectives: Identify the intended use of the panel, for example, whether it will display the event agenda, speakers, sponsors, or practical information. Also, determine the panel’s format and size, as well as the specific information to include.
- Design the Layout: Use graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator to create the layout for your panel. Be sure to choose a design that reflects the event’s visual identity while being attractive and easy to read. Use legible fonts, consistent colors, and appropriate graphic elements to create a visual impact.
- Organize the Information: Structure the information on the panel clearly and logically. Use headings, subheadings, and bullet points to make it easy to read and understand. Be sure to include essential information such as the event’s time and location, speakers’ names, the schedule, sponsors, and any other relevant details.
- Choose the Printing Material: Select the type of material you want to print the panel on. Common options include paper, PVC, aluminum, or cardboard. Choose a material that is suitable for the environment where the panel will be displayed, whether indoors or outdoors.
- Review and Proofread: Before printing the panel, be sure to carefully review all information, checking for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and layout consistency. It can be helpful to have several people proofread the panel to get additional feedback and suggestions.
- Print the Panel: Once the final panel design is ready, find a professional printer specializing in signage. Ask for recommendations, compare prices, and evaluate sample quality. Make sure to provide the design files in the format required by the printer.
- Install the Panel: Carefully prepare the location where the panel will be displayed by setting up appropriate stands or having the necessary tools to mount it on a wall or other surfaces. Ensure it is installed in a visible and accessible place for forum attendees.
By following these steps, you can design and print a custom panel for a forum, clearly communicating essential information to event participants. Don’t hesitate to seek help from a professional graphic designer or a specialized printer if needed.
