Definition of flyer

A leaflet is a small piece of paper used as advertising or information material. Leaflets are often used as promotional tools by companies, educational establishments and political organizations.

The most common type of leaflet is the flyer. Flyers are generally distributed in public places such as shopping malls, subway stations and airports. They are also distributed by salespeople at trade shows and conventions.

Leaflets can have different designs and layouts depending on their intended use. For example, a leaflet on health might be aimed at people who have just been diagnosed with cancer, while another on the same subject might be aimed at doctors so that they can advise their patients more effectively.”
