We created the graphic charter for our customer Hr House International.

This assignment was very interesting in terms of its management and progress. In fact, during the first briefing meeting, the general ideas were poorly structured, which meant that the agency’s initial output was rather limited, with a first salvo of 04 proposals that were rather average, even from our point of view.

Following a second meeting with the client, where we insisted on the importance of the client’s initial brief, the agency subjected the client to a series of questions to get the broad outlines the client would like to explore, as well as a brainstorming session where we let the client talk to us freely about his business… this meeting was crucial in the graphic design of our client’s logo.

Designing a logo is a crucial step in creating the visual identity of a company or brand. A successful logo should be memorable, simple, adaptable and reflect the essence of the brand. Here’s a step-by-step guide to logo design:

1. Understanding the Brand :

• Mission and Values: Understand the brand’s mission and core values. The logo should reflect these aspects.
• Target audience: Identify the brand’s target audience. The logo must appeal to this specific audience.

2. Research :

• Competitors: Study competitor logos in the industry to avoid similarity and to understand existing trends.
• Inspiration: Look for inspiring logos in other sectors that might stimulate creativity.

3. Defining Key Concepts :

• Visual Elements: Identify visual elements that represent the brand. This could be a symbol, a specific letter, or a distinctive motif.
• Style: Determine the style of the logo, whether it’s modern, classic, minimalist, etc.

4. Creating sketches :

• Roughs: Sketch several logo ideas on paper to explore different creative directions.
• Simplicity: Keep it simple. Simple logos are often more memorable.

5. Digitizing sketches :

• Choose Design Tools: Use graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or online tools like Canva to digitize sketches.

6. Design :

• Color: Choose an appropriate color palette. Make sure the logo remains legible even in black and white.
• Form: Refine the shape and arrangement of elements. Make sure they are balanced and coherent.
• Font: If the logo includes text, choose an appropriate, legible font.

7. Test Adaptability :

• Size: Make sure the logo is legible at different sizes, from very small to very large.
• Varied contexts: Test the logo on different backgrounds to ensure optimum visibility.

8. Obtaining Returns :

• Internal feedback: Get feedback from people inside the company to ensure that the logo accurately represents the brand.
• External feedback: If possible, get feedback from an external audience for objective perspectives.

9. Refine and Finalize :

• Iterations: Make changes based on feedback and necessary iterations.
• Formats: Create different versions of the logo for versatile use, including color, black & white and different sizes.

10. Document and deliver :

• User manual: Document logo specifications in a user manual, including colors, fonts, proportions, etc.
• Files: Deliver logo files in a variety of formats suitable for use on different media.
